John Jaquish

Owner/Director

Hello, I am John Jaquish; owner and Director of Tiny Tykes. I consider myself a Colorado native, seeing that I have lived in this beautiful State since the age of four.

I was raised and went to school in Nederland. From Nederland I went on to be a three sport athlete at Western State College (Football, Wrestling and Rugby). At WSC I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in K-12 education. After college I jumped into the workforce instead of completing my student teaching. One of the owners of a business for which I was providing nighttime security, also owned two large Child Care Centers in Boulder, CO. She was short staffed and, knowing my education background, asked if I would help out for a few weeks. A few weeks turned into a few years and, ultimately, a new Early Childhood Education Degree. I fell in love with teaching and playing with the little ones.

This experience gave birth to my dream to build and own a ChildCare Center. I wanted to be able to pursue my passion, along with having a place where I could provide a safe, fun and educational experience for my children and yours!

Director

I’m Ms. Sara, I have my master’s and bachelor’s in early childhood studies. I have been in early childhood education for 12 years, and love working with children and families. My favorite part about working with children is building lasting relationships and helping them learn and grow.

I am a mom of 2, Wesley, and Avery, and a dog mom of a black lab, Roxy. In my personal time we love crafting, camping, traveling, and spending times outdoors.

Teacher

Hello, my name is Kelsey Cole, and I am a lead teacher here at Tiny Tykes. I was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado. After high school I moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I continued my studies at Colorado State and received a Master of Education degree with a specialization in Early Childhood. After graduating I taught second grade in Northglenn for six years.

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine; I strive to create a safe and caring learning environment where children can grow as learners and as individuals. Teaching at Tiny Tykes allows me to do this for your children, as well as my own!

Jaden

Teacher

Hello everyone! My name is Jaden; I am a teacher aide here at tiny tykes. I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life but spent much of my time on our family farm in a small town in Oklahoma.

I went to school in Erie Co and was a two-sport athlete, traveling and playing softball and basketball. After high school, I continued to further my education online at Front Range Community College to become a special education teacher and an ultrasound technician. While I was in high school, I got a fantastic opportunity to work with special needs students as I was still going to school. I got to hop around to different high, middle, and elementary schools, working with special needs students and being their mentor. As I went from school to school, I realized I grew a love for children every day and couldn’t be happier with the career path I chose and for being a part of this fantastic facility!
